Planning permission was granted for the proposed redevelopment of this former Butlin’s site. The majority of the buildings on the site are to be demolished to make way for 279 new apartments, most of which will have views of the sea or the Downs. The project also includes the refurbishment and conversion of the of the listed 1930s Grand Ocean Hotel to residential use.
