Rolfe Judd was commissioned to secure planning and listed building consent for refurbishment to the existing listed school and design new blocks that will expand and enhance the school's facilities. Classrooms will be re-organised to improve daylight access and create a more comfortable environment. The refurbishment of the 1930s building has been designed to achieve BREEAM 'Very Good' rating. The new sports hall extension is set to be carbon neutral and employs energy-saving features such as PV panels and rainwater recycling.
