Rolfe Judd has recently submitted a planning application to London Borough of Merton for a new extension at the College's Merton Campus to provide a new 'Centre of Excellence' for students and staff in a visually distinctive building. The proposal which will replace a tired 1960s structure and will provide 1920sqm of state of the art teaching accommodation and landscaped spaces including a Physic Garden. The building will achieve a Very Good BREEAM rating and be naturally ventilated. Planning permission is expected by the end of the year with construction due to start in early 2011.
