Shaftesbury owns a significant number of properties within this area. We have worked closely with Shaftesbury, Westminster City Council and the community to protect and enhance the unique character of Chinatown. This has been achieved by promoting uses such as restaurant and retail on lower floors, with flexible uses such as retail, residential and offices on upper floors. Authentic Chinese design has been promoted within the area, and Horse and Dolphin Yard has been transformed from a service yard to a vibrant retail courtyard.
