A planning application was submitted in late 2007 for a new development of 73 apartments and 724m2 of ground floor retail on Walworth Road, close to the heart of the Elephant and Castle regeneration area. Detailed discussions with the planning and regeneration arms of the Council have led to the development of a high density mixed use development which accords with the aims of the Development Framework for the area.
