5X10 Art Piece is Being Installed

To communicate our celebratory fiftieth year, since the founding of our company, a striking art installation, 5X10, will add intrigue and delight to our office façade. The temporary piece, which is currently being installed, is to celebrate the importance of art and how it can enhance the built environment, and to invite our local community to take an interest in what we do.

The art piece has been designed by award winning, street art specialists, James Glancy Design. It is comprised of fifty illuminated coloured tubes to both complement the historic façade and respect its setting.

Rolfe Judd has worked with many artists over the decades, delivering public art and integrating art works into their buildings and place making. The use of art has incredible communicative power in the world of urban planning and architecture; it is a great way to improve understanding, acceptance of new ideas, or simply to expand the idea of the city from a place to an evolving and interactive environment.

We have always been based in Kennington and moved into Old Church Court, Claylands Road in the mid 1980s after converting the old church building to offices. Our year of celebration includes a programme of events which embrace art, charity and community.
