ABOUT ROLFE JUDD
OUR CULTURE
In a world where the impact of climate change is now a tangible reality, sustainability lies at the heart of everything we do. It is not just about the places that we create however – true sustainability starts from within and is as much about creating a fair, stimulating and ethical working environment as it is about creating greener buildings.
Much of our strength is defined by the quality of those that work with us. We strive hard to create a culture of opportunity which allows people to develop and express themselves within the group.
working at rolfe judd
Located in a stunning deconsecrated congregationalist church, only a cricket ball’s throw away from The Kia Oval, our London office benefits from an enviable studio environment.
The wellbeing of all those who work at Rolfe Judd is very important and all three of our offices are located close to public transport hubs, with ample storage for bikes and shower facilities.
A core value of the practice includes a commitment to inclusivity and equality in everything we do as joint architecture and planning companies, both in the office and also in the projects we undertake. We are committed to early local engagement, talking to communities to understand how development will benefit and affect them. We will work closely with access organisations to understand the needs of our diverse community.
OUR local community
Over the years we have relished the fact that, in addition to our role as professionals working on the national and international stage, we are also members of vibrant local communities both in London and Poland. We have taken an active role in developing links with local schools, businesses, and community groups, as well as our local authority in Lambeth.
These links include promoting planning and architecture to children and young persons, in addition to that we have also provided pro bono advice to support local initiatives.
We are also very proud that some of our most successful schemes have been delivered within a few hundred metres from our office.
environmental, social and governance
Rolfe Judd is committed to ensuring that everything we do is ethical, responsible and, as far as is possible, makes a positive difference to our environment and the communities we engage with.
How we act must meet the following three cornerstone principles:
- Environmental Preserving our world for future generations
- Social Consideration of wellbeing and ensuring inclusivity and opportunity for all
- Governance Taking responsible and conscientious management Decisions
