“I originally joined Rolfe Judd during my work placement for Part II of architectural studies at the University of Strathclyde. While the move to London was daunting, I quickly settled into the office with help from the staff, many of whom were at a similar stage in their careers as me.

Upon completion of my Part II studies, I returned to Rolfe Judd as a full-time architectural assistant. The diversity in scale and complexity of the completed projects is what initially attracted me to the practice and I was not disappointed. I have been challenged, thoroughly gaining experience in retail, residential and office sectors. There is also a strong social scene including sporting events, quizzes and lunchtime CPD sessions.

The company have supported my ambition to undertake Part III studies and over the past two years have tailored my workload to suit the criteria as well as offering financial assistance and a mentor.

My project experience is well-rounded covering all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work. I have one completed project and I’m currently working on another at stage 5. I have seen a clear progression in my knowledge and understanding which can be largely attributed to the support of my colleagues.”
