Walthamstow Gateway: Shortlisted

We are delighted to know that our Walthamstow Gateway Phase 2 project has been shortlisted for the British Home Awards in the Best Mixed Use Scheme category.
The second phase of Walthamstow Gateway completes the redevelopment of the station approach area and carpark site which began in 2011 with the first phase of residential, hotel and retail development. This second phase comprises of 79 residential apartments in a single building which complement the Phase 1 development and objectives of the Walthamstow Town Centre Area Action Plan (AAP).
The scheme provides a much-needed viable use and activity to the existing station car park which was an unwelcoming dead end and a focus of crime and antisocial behaviour. The scheme includes an improved public realm, including significant investment in new surfacing, lighting and planting within the station carpark.
