Richmond Mixed-Use Scheme Achieves Planning

The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames resolved to grant planning permission for a mixed-use, residential-led development in Hampton Hill. The sensitively designed, contemporary scheme responds to local character, providing houses, apartments and new retail space. The run down site is within the High Street Hampton Hill Conservation Area and overlooks the Grade I listed, Bushy Park.

“This scheme skilfully combines a carefully thought out mix of uses to give the right balance for the local community. We are pleased this underused site can now be transformed into high quality homes and public amenity space.”

The former 1980’s office complex will be demolished to make way for this vibrant new development. Six townhouses, 35 apartments and two retail units are all arranged around linked courtyard spaces.
