Rolfe Judd Supporting Callum’s journey to Part 3

I first came to Rolfe Judd after my undergraduate course at the Oxford Brookes School of Architecture in my Part 1 year of experience as an architectural assistant. Rolfe Judd was a great place to start my career with welcoming staff that would later become great mentors and friends. Rolfe Judd actively provided me with a variety of experience on projects of various scales, sectors, and stages in my professional year of experience, giving me a new understanding of the realities of practicing architecture. After an enjoyable first year of experience, I felt ready to embark on my part 2 returning to Oxford Brookes.

Due to the fantastic support and development that Rolfe Judd had provided me with in my first year of experience I wanted to return to continue working with the team on the diverse range of architectural projects to develop my career and understanding of all aspects of architecture and with the intension of embarking upon my Part 3.

Rolfe Judd were extremely supportive of my decision to continue my studies offering financial assistance, a mentor and 10 study days for Part 3. The company helped me work on all stages of the RIBA plan of work to gain the necessary experience needed for my studies.

Leytonstone Park

The range of projects that I have worked on has vastly improved my architectural knowledge and career. Initially on my return to Rolfe Judd I worked on Leytonstone High Road developing a design and a planning submission for a 180-unit mixed use Residential scheme.

This project helped me develop my skills in the early stages of work. When this project was close to submission, I moved to work on Threadneedle Street a refurbishment and extension of an existing building next to the bank of England to develop my skills and gain an understanding of applying architectural drawings and concepts to a live project in the construction stage.

Threadneedle Street

Threadneedle street has been my first construction project and has helped me gain new skills that have been integral to my part three studies.

Rolfe Judd have supported me and my learning through all the projects that I have worked on, my colleagues have gone above and beyond to help me with all aspects of my studies, I have loved working here and look forward to developing my skills and career with Rolfe Judd in the future.
