Jonathan is a main board director of Rolfe Judd Architecture and has over 30 years experience of working in the built environment. He is passionate about urban design and has a significant role in guiding design issues within the practice. His knowledge, skills and experience are in both concept design and construction. Alongside a pragmatic and sensitive approach, his experience enables him to add real value to projects. This is particularly important in the transition from concept to built form.

His work includes a number of new mixed-use projects within the Carnaby Estate which have helped to transform this part of Soho into a key visitor destination, providing new offices, retail space and apartments. His new build experience also includes the BREEAM Excellent office building, Howick Place and a tranquil residential development surrounding the canal basin of the Chichester Ship Canal. His refurbishment work ranges from the transformation of the former Dickins and Jones store in Regent Street, to provide new retail and office facilities, to enhancing and expanding the teaching facilities at Hanover School in Islington.

Jonathan studied at Newcastle University School of Architecture, qualified in 1985 and joined Rolfe Judd in 1987. He became an associate in 1995, director in 1998 and main board director in 2001.
