Rupert Anderson

Rupert’s expertise covers all aspects of building envelope design, across all stages: from façade concept, detail design, specification, and delivery. He has extensive site experience and looks at value, buildability, and programme to implement efficient delivery. At the same time his aim is to preserve the design intent and material integrity of the concept. Rupert has a rigorous approach and takes the lead with the specialist subcontractors and teams during the construction phases.

Key projects include Saffron Square which features a flat and vibrantly coloured glass façade manufactured in slim framing units and Howick Place in the Westminster Cathedral Conservation Area. This project has a sophisticated and quickly assembled precast façade.

Rupert was lead for the detail design and coordination of Harbour Central on the Isle of Dogs, which has an envelope package valued at circa £60 million.

Rupert studied at Kingston University, graduating in 1995. He joined Rolfe Judd in 2010, become an associate in 2015 and a senior associate in 2017.
