A complex development with retained façades, places new residences around a central, private courtyard.
Located in a complicated urban context, in the heart of Marylebone, the scheme comprises 126 residential units, of which 38 are affordable, underground parking and a retail unit. The site was purchased without planning by the client; our team were able to achieve planning consent in record time.
Highly desirable apartments were created and the design set a new standard for the area. New and retained façades sit comfortably alongside each other and the buildings wrap around a tranquil, landscaped courtyard. An LED artwork is set within the intricate stonework details, highlighting one of the historical façades.
Additionally three penthouses, with exclusive roof terraces overlooking the townscape, were completed for a private client. The unique duplex studio spaces featured mezzanine floors behind the large windows of the retained façade.
