One of a series of station-led, mixed-use projects, to create value and enable station and environmental improvements, for the travelling public. Current schemes include Walthamstow, Guildford, Epsom and Twickenham.
The predominantly residential scheme is centred around the transport hub of Epsom Station. The station’s presence on the new street scene is clearly marked with a double height entrance hall, projecting canopy and six storey contemporary art installation.
In total, 117 new apartments are provided as well as retail, a hotel and the new station concourse and ticket office for the town. The scheme includes a mix of residential tenures, with private rented, shared ownership and affordable rental options. Of these, 63 apartments are managed by Fizzy Living, the pioneering private rented provider, and 54 apartments are for Orbit Housing Association, a leading provider of housing solutions.
