Vox StudiosFlexible business space for new and growing companies is created on the site of a former Marmite factory. The development of Vox Studios involved the complete refurbishment of two buildings and the design and construction of two new structures to provide a business centre with a minimal, modern aesthetic. The site is within a conservation area.The scheme includes amenity spaces for the tenants, such as a new entrance, café, meeting spaces and co-working facilities, together with landscaping to encourage a busy and creative atmosphere.Work was carried out in three phases to ensure minimal disturbance to existing tenants and the whole development is designed to achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating, using 47% less energy than a standard office building.A cohesive appearance is given to the whole site, building on it’s industrial heritage, new elements are boldly inserted against the best of the old.
