We are happy to announce that Snaresbrook Station, a scheme for Pocket Living has just received a resolution to grant from the London Borough of Redbridge. This is a huge achievement for a us, the client, and the whole project team.
The scheme provides 74 new affordable homes on an extremely constricted and contentious site (the current parking area for Snaresbrook Station) within leafy suburban Snaresbrook.
This redevelopment optimises a sustainable brownfield site has good accessibility and transport links, and will create a new high quality landscaped pedestrian path and amenity lane space enhancing the surrounding context and softening the remaining station car park area.
It will create a sustainable building based on passive design, low carbon materials and energy efficient building principles, with a biodiversity net gain of +619% and urban Greening Factor of 0.38
Pocket Living provides developments which are 100% affordable based on a provision of 1bed / 1person flats to first time buyers who live or work within the local area, with a focus on exceptional communal spaces and well design flat layouts.
