Broadwick Street

The building was previously known as the London head office of Jaeger UK. Working with Rolfe Judd Architecture, this scheme transforms an outdated building and interior into a prime retail and office development in the heart of Soho.

At the heart of the reception space is an organic timber fin wall that leads one through from the glass entrance doors to the lifts and integrated desk. Rusticated concrete wall panels provide contrast and enclose the reception area.

Downlights provide ascent points with discrete linear lighting, while dark concrete slatted wall panels contrast against the floor and ceiling enveloping the space. Similar wall finishes will be used on the upper office floor lobby and toilet areas.

A key feature of the office floor plates is the use of exposed services providing a semi industrial look. All ducts and fan coil units are exposed and clad in polished aluminium sheet which had to be carefully integrated with the existing building structure.
