Committee Approves Clapham Common South Side Scheme


Permission is secured as Lambeth’s Planning Committee vote unanimously in favour of major mixed-use scheme.

Located on a former business park and waste transfer site close to Clapham Common, this scheme, designed by Rolfe Judd Architecture, will provide almost 300 new homes and circa 3,500 sqm of modern flexible employment space.

The development will comprise of six buildings ranging from four to ten storeys in height, with the residential buildings arranged around landscaped gardens.

Flexible office space is adjacent to the entrance and a ground floor café will face onto the new public square

Working with the community the scheme has evolved to include a new public square and improved permeability, which alongside the commercial offer.
