Green light for Bollo Lane

Planning permission has been granted for 100 Bollo Lane, a mixed-use development in Chiswick, by the developer Pocket Living. This will be the company’s third scheme in the London Borough of Ealing and will deliver much needed affordable homes to the area.

“We are delighted to have secured permission for Pocket Living’s largest development yet and to be delivering so many affordable homes for local first time buyers. Chiswick is a hugely popular area with first time buyers and we’re confident there will be huge demand for these homes.”

Marc Vlessing, CEO, Pocket Living

This 0.2 hectare site currently comprises a storage and distribution depot at the edge of the South Acton, bounded on three sides by railway lines.

The scheme, designed by PRP Architects, will provide 112 apartments within a part 3/8/14 storey building with ancillary residential amenity space at ground and roof levels. The scheme will also provide 2,760 sqm of high quality flexible B1 (office, hi-tech, light industrial) employment space on the ground, first and second floors, resulting in a significant increase in employment opportunities.

Pocket Living’s affordable homes are targeted at London’s first time buyers who do not qualify for social or affordable rent but are increasingly priced out of the housing market.
