New Permitted Development Rights
New permitted development rights to change use from Commercial (Class E) to Residential (Class C3) has come into force and will take effect from 1st August 2021. The controversial rights are intended to support the housing delivery, economic recovery and high street regeneration.
The final version has introduced several restrictions compared to the draft, including a size limit, which we have set out within the attached document.
