Old Southwark Fire Station Scheme To Go Ahead
Working with developer Hadston, and architects ColladoCollins and Peter Taylor Associates and a fantastic development team, we have secured planning permission for the Old Southwark Fire Station in Borough.
The scheme will deliver a much needed new secondary and sixth floor school, sports centre and games court to be shared with the local community and new public open space. The school will be operated by Haberdashers’ Aske’s Federation. Delivery of the scheme is enabled by the inclusion of 199 new homes which are located in the Fire Station and a new residential building.
“The scheme is one of the most complex we have worked on, given the heritage assets on the site and the requirement to deliver an exemplary school in a brownfield location. The journey has been worth it…”
