Unanimous Approval for Heritage Scheme in Cheyne Walk


We have secured planning permission for the redevelopment at 1-4 Munro Terrace and 111-112 Cheyne Walk in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC). The Committee Chair praised the high-quality, sensitive scheme that was brought forward, and it received unanimous approval from members.

Traditional materials and architectural detailing complement the existing historic features

In a prominent corner position on the Thames embankment, the building is located within the Cheyne Walk Conservation Area and adjacent to a Grade II listed building. The proposed scheme, by architects Scott Brownrigg, seeks to rationalise the existing uses within the building whilst providing a sensitive restoration of the front façade and contemporary rear extension.
