Philip has substantial planning consultancy experience in both the UK and Ireland, particularly in the management and delivery of major and complex redevelopments. In many of these schemes he has often fulfilled the role of project manager, co-ordinating and managing each relevant member of the design team to ensure that a comprehensive and thorough planning application is submitted and a successful outcome achieved. Philip also assists existing and new clients by advising on the development potential of individual sites, making Local Plan representations and all forms of planning appeals.
His project experience in Ireland includes Spencer Dock, the Google Headquarters and the Digital Hub in Dublin. In the UK he has successfully steered the regeneration of London’s Royal Docks at Royal Wharf and Deanston Wharf, the new flagship office and retail building at 48 Leicester Square and a major residential development on green belt land at Knebworth in North Hertfordshire.
Philip graduated with a Master of Regional and Urban Planning from University College Dublin in 2005. He worked for John Spain Associates in Dublin and also lectured in planning practice at Dublin Institute of Technology. He then moved to London and was employed as a planning consultant at Cushman & Wakefield before joining Rolfe Judd Planning in 2011, he became an associate director in 2017 and director in 2019.
