This development on behalf of The Throgmorton Group and designed by Rolfe Judd Architecture will deliver a mixed-use residential led scheme with re-provided commercial use at basement and ground floor in a prominent corner location replacing an Argos store.
The scheme will provide 42 new residential homes ranging from studios to 3 bedrooms, with 5 affordable 3-bedroom family homes. The homes will be enhanced with on-site communal amenity and children’s play space.
It has been designed using high quality materials as well as replicating the historic composition of the existing buildings within the Heaver Estate Conservation Area. The high road will be reinforced by the ground floor commercial frontage through a new, double fronted, unit in a prominent corner location, with new building entrances.
This will be a sustainable car-free development with compliant cycle parking provision, with the Commercial space targeting BREEAM ‘Excellent’. The biodiversity will be increased through additional trees, green walls, biodiverse green roofs and habitat creation.
