Goldsworth Road

Redevelopment of a brownfield site in central Woking to provide residential accommodation, office space, retail and gym use.

With Woking Council keen to continue the regeneration momentum in the centre of town, we worked closely with officers to develop plans for a comprehensive redevelopment of the entire site, comprising the phased delivery of three taller buildings linked by a three storey podium.

The development is sustainably located in the heart of Woking, and incorporates a mix of uses in order to make the most efficient use of a site in a highly accessible location, providing 560 new homes, Grade A office space, and improvements to public realm.

From formal instruction in January 2016, Rolfe Judd Planning negotiated a Planning Performance Agreement with the Council to set out a pre-application and post-submission planning timetable. As a result, this EIA development obtained a resolution to grant planning permission in October 2016.
