We secured planning permission and listed building consent for the refurbishment of the existing 1930s Grade II listed Hanover Primary School.
Located within a conservation area and alongside Regent’s Canal, Hanover School, which is listed Grade II has a special character and is important to the local community. Rolfe Judd secured planning permission and listed building consent for a new main entrance and reception for the school. A new foundation stage entrance was also created, as well as direct access for each different age group from learning to separate external play spaces.
The scheme included a new sports hall with rooftop amenity space. The contemporary design of the sports hall was complementary to listed school building and provides significant improvements to the sports and assembly space for the school. The refurbishment and extension of Hanover School achieved a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ Rating.
