London City Island, English National Ballet

Located at the heart of the London City Island development will be the new English National Ballet headquarters building, designed to be a hub of creativity with the island.

Housed within a four storey iconic building within the Masterplan it will be primarily focused onto the new public space within Trinity Square. It will accommodate the English National Ballet (ENB) and English National Ballet School (ENBS) and has been designed to meet their specific requirements.

The building will provide 8,290 sq. m of floor space, which will include a full scale stage, mirroring the finest performance venues in the world, which will allow dancers to practice prior to going on tour. The exterior of the building has been designed as a translucent, light weight structure through which the silhouettes of the dancers within the studios will be visible.
