We secured permission for the demolition of an existing building and delivery of 59 high quality, residential apartments and basement car park.
Working with our sister company Rolfe Judd Architecture a scheme was developed to deliver to provide 59 high-specification residential units, with car parking facilities at basement level. The scheme includes 9 affordable, shared ownership uses and an additional contribution to help secure affordable accommodation in the borough.
As the site is directly adjacent to the East Putney Conservation Area, great care was taken during design stages to ensure that the new development was sensitive to the local context, with materials and massing being chosen to complement the streetscape. Rolfe Judd Planning consulted closely with Wandsworth Council to ensure that all issues could be addressed in the pre-application stages, to ensure the positive determination of the application.
