Rainbow Industrial Estate

Proposals for a vibrant, mixed use residential / commercial development on an existing industrial estate next to Raynes Park station in south London.

Rolfe Judd Planning was appointed by the Workspace Group to drive forward the redevelopment of the site. Initially, this involved working closely with the council to formulate a development brief, which supported a mixed-use development approach.

Subsequently, AHMM architects designed detailed proposals for the redevelopment of the site, which included the delivery of 224 new residential units, 3,449sq.m of new, light industrial and business space, retail accommodation and a new energy centre. The scheme also includes the provision of a new ‘Kiss and Ride’ facility serving Raynes Park station, along with significant new areas of new public realm.

Planning permission was secured for the scheme in 2016.
