Royal Mint Gardens

The complex scheme proposes the redevelopment of an underutilised brownfield site that includes two DLR lines and the overground railway to Fenchurch Street station, within the backdrop of the World Heritage Site, the Tower of London.

The proposal comprises two distinct parts, Block A comprising 196 new residential units and 263 units within blocks BCD. Flexible retail and business accommodation will also be provided, along with four arches for community use facing Chamber Street.

A public piazza is proposed on site with new pedestrian links across the site and public realm.

Phase 1, which encapsulates the DLR lines, is on site now. The scheme will be delivered as a phased development.
