The ChilternsRedevelopment of a local authority depot and multi-storey car park in Chiltern Street, in the heart of Marylebone, to provide new residential and community accommodation.74-76 Chiltern Street was previously an unattractive, post-war multi-storey car park and local authority street sweeping depot, with some dilapidated retail units at ground floor level. Working with architects Squire and Partners, we secured permission in 2011, and subsequently in 2013, for the redevelopment of the site to provide a residential-led mixed-use scheme, comprising 59 high quality units, of which 16 are affordable. The scheme also includes a new health centre, restaurant, and retail units at ground floor level. We were retained to successfully negotiate approval of planning conditions, non-material amendments, and Section 73 minor material amendments for both the client and new commercial occupiers. The scheme was completed in 2016.Client: Frogmore / Galliard HomesLPA: City of WestminsterArchitect: Squire and PartnersSectors: Mixed-Use Residential
