The scheme will deliver 214 residential units, within a podium development, located above the existing car park for the shopping centre.
The proposed development represents a well-designed and thoughtfully structured scheme. It will deliver much needed homes within the borough, including quality affordable accommodation, as well as delivering significant garden amenity space for the residents.
The development also enables improved public accessibility through the car park site to the shopping centre, providing retail and commercial opportunities at ground level to encourage activity and to add vibrancy to the existing street environment to the rear of the site.
Planning permission was granted in 2016.
