We secured permission on behalf of Bywater’s for the comprehensive mixed use redevelopment of a brownfield site in Waltham Forest.
We prepared a brief for the redevelopment of the site and the adjoining storm water facility owned to deliver a new mixed use quarter for Leyton. We developed in close cooperation with the Council and the GLA an outline planning application for the redevelopment of the site and construction of a series of buildings to be built in five phases which would provide up to 730 new homes and 4500sqm of commercial space. The scheme would include a new two form entry primary school and a new 21st Century storm water facility for Thames Water.
Overall the proposals will make optimal use of the under-utilised site, and crucially provide much needed education facilities, new homes and commercial space and support the Council’s regeneration objectives for the area.
