The scheme, principally designed by Rolfe Judd Architecture, took full advantage of the location adjacent to the West Reservoir to ensure most units had fantastic views of the water. The scheme includes a 27 tower to the east with the scale dropping in height westwards. The scheme also includes substantial areas of green space both through the scheme and through the provision of a wide linear park, which runs parallel with the New River.
The scheme delivers 490 new homes, of which 192 are affordable and which benefit from the best views. The scheme includes a number of new retail units facing Woodberry Grove and a large community centre, the Redmond Centre, to the west of the site, which will face a new park once phase 2 is complete.
The scheme was completed in 2012 and has won a number of awards.
