Rolfe Judd is proud to have played a key role in a truly unique event that brought cricket to new heights to celebrate the topping out of The Halo.

The Lord’s Taverners charity hosted what is believed to be the highest-ever cricket pitch in London, staging a one-off match atop the historic Oval gas holder, now being transformed into The Halo, a striking new residential development by the Berkeley Group.

The rooftop cricket session marked the launch of a £750,000 partnership between the Berkeley Foundation and the Lord’s Taverners, a charity dedicated to empowering young people with disabilities and from disadvantaged backgrounds through cricket. Participants from the Surrey Super 1s programme embedded signed cricket balls into the rooftop concrete, creating a lasting legacy of the day. England cricket legends Mike Gatting, Monty Panesar, and Chris Tremlett joined the celebration, which also commemorated the Lord’s Taverners’ 75th anniversary.

With this milestone, the completion of what is set to become one of London’s most iconic residential buildings moves ever closer to reality, and we are truly honoured to play our part in shaping the London of the future.
