A calm, green oasis adjacent to mature forest just 15 minutes from Łódź city centre, in the immediate vicinity of the Lodz Hills Landscape Park. The development benefits from one of the largest private green amenity spaces to create a relaxing and calm environment.
Residential development with a mixture of two and three bed semi-detached and terraced houses with plot sizes varying from 170 square metres to 270 square metres.
Brzozowa Aleja II won the second prize in the competition of the Minister of the Environment “Project: Space 2015” in the category: Residential Investment. The award was granted for the careful use of the terrain features / oxbow lake and the creation of a valuable model of a residential area in suburban areas.
The housing estate also was awarded Best Architecture Lodz 2016, in a national competition by the internet portal RynekPierwotny.pl. Pools of over 1,900 projects were considered and over 114,000 votes were cast by site users for the 27 selected finalists. The evaluation considered location, architecture and the ratio of price to standard.
The key driver of the master plan was to create a series of mews-style streets surrounding and connecting all residents with the green heart of the estate.
The design of this green heart space was carried out under the strict supervision of UNESCO and required close cooperation with landscape architect, ecologist, hydrologist and other specialists to enable the natural re-creation of the former Miazga River.
