We are delighted to see Keybridge House redevelopment and London City Island have been  shortlisted for the London RIBA Awards 2023.

Keybridge House, by Allies and Morrison, is a mixed-use development in place of the former brutalist BT telephone exchange building in Vauxhall, that has now been largely completed by developer Mount Anvil. The development provides 595 new residential units, along with a school, employment and  commercial floor space within six blocks ranging from 4 to 36 storeys.

Rolfe Judd have been involved with the site since 2014 working on the amendments to the first phase and planning permission for the second phase and school. Most recently, Rolfe Judd have worked in association with General Projects to introduce flexible uses (formerly B1, A1-A4, D1, D2) to the ground floor of Blocks B and C and the entirety of the Basement -1 space, comprising a total of 7,335 sqm.

London City Island Masterplan, by Glenn Howells Architects, delivered over 1,700 residential units alongside 20,492 square metres of business, retail and educational uses. At the heart of development, you can find the home of the English National Ballet headquarters, designed to be a hub of creativity within the island.

We coordinated the planning matters of this significant regeneration project redeveloping a 12-acre former industrial brownfield site.

Congratulations to all the parties involved in these two great projects that enhance London’s architectural scene.
