Jan Donovan

Jan is a chartered town planner and director of Rolfe Judd Planning. She advises developers, institutional investors and occupiers in both the private and public sectors.

By combining specialist London wide experience with planning expertise and knowledge of the political context, Jan is able to take developments forward to achieve local decisions. She also undertakes expert witness at public inquiry and the submission of representations in respect of development plans and representation at EiP.

Jan’s project experience spans community and complex developments as well as delivering wider strategic client vision. Portfolio management such as Carnaby and Kingly Court in Soho and Seven Dials in Covent Garden. Tall buildings and complex developments including Miles Street, Riverside Studios and TNQ have delivered high density mixed use residential, student, and commercial schemes. Infrastructure projects such as building over the two DLR lines at Royal Mint Gardens in the backdrop of the Tower of London, demonstrates a multifaceted mixed use residential led development.

Jan completed an MA(Hons) in Town Planning at ECA in Edinburgh and qualified as a member of the RTPI in 1999. She began her professional career at Devon County Council and also at North Cornwall District Council. Jan joined Rolfe Judd in 2000 and a main board director since 2013.
