The Media Centre is located within the All England Lawn Tennis Club, providing a dedicated facility for the world’s media during the annual Wimbledon Championships.
Rolfe Judd provided pre-app, planning and post-approval support to the AELTC’s proposals for the Media Centre.

The works are part of the club’s continual investment into the grounds to ensure Wimbledon remains the pinnacle of world tennis. The Media Centre has been designed that live interviews can take place from upper and lower roofs with sweeping views of the grounds particularly in the setting of Centre Court and No.1 Court.

Internally, the building has a number of interview rooms as well as a main auditorium along with state-of-the-art broadcasting equipment. A technical services room has also been provided, enabling broadcasters to connect their equipment within this dedicated space. Along with active management of building services to support reduced energy usage, the building is completed with bio-solar roofs.
